Bendix-king KN-64 DME (OHC)

Featuring an all solid state transmitter and four Large Scale Integrated Circuits, the non-TSO'd KN64 requires only 1.3inches of panel height and weighs in at only 2.6lb. The KN64's self-dimming photocell provides large easy-to-flight information.

The KN64 can be channeled remotely through almost any NAV receiver or tuned directly with its own frequency selector knobs. Output power is 35W peak pulse.

The KN64's display shows DME distance, groundspeed and time-to-station information at the same time, or show the DME distance and internally selected frequency. As the unit only consumes 15W of power, no external cooling is required.
