Description

The RCA 11A series of vacuum directional gyros utilises an air driven precision gyroscope that controls a vertical rotating azimuth gimbal. The RCA 11A series directional gyro will give a correct heading information through 85 degrees of aircraft attitude in roll and pitch, as well as 360 degrees of yaw. The RCA 11A series of instruments meets or exceeds FAA TSO C5c.

The RCA 11A series has established itself as one of the finest instruments manufactured over the last 40 years and is used as original equipment in many of the general aviation aircraft manufactured today.
